Katherine - a chunky lace cardigan knitting pattern
A collaboration with the KnitPicks team, KnitPicks makes beautiful yarn and patterns with price accessibility and I'm happy to work with them!
Katherine is a deep-V cardigan with chunky lace and ribbed sections that create a cozy and feminine shape. The bulky yarn makes this sweater perfect for layering in cool weather.
The Katherine Cardigan uses ribbing for striking hourglass shaping for the waist, mirrored in the wide fold-over neckline. The recommended hook and eye closure allows for customization in closure placement and number, so you can make this cardigan entirely your own. Katherine is knit flat in pieces, and then seamed.
Construction
Katherine is knit flat in pieces and seamed together after blocking. The neck band is picked up from the seamed body and knit.
