It's knit seamlessly from the top down, and features forgiving in-the-round construction and a gentle bell-shape through the body for a silhouette that gives you room to move. Construction

You’ll begin One for All by casting on stitches and working German short rows to shape the neck. You’ll then work in the round to the underarms, before splitting for the body and sleeves, which are also worked in the round toward the cuff. The body has a gentle bell shape, with increases worked in concentric rings. Finally, stitches are picked up and worked for the standing collar.

Yarn

Brooklyn Tweed Imbue Sport

100% Non-superwash Merino wool; 190 yds / 174 m per 50 g skein. This is a 3-ply worsted-spun yarn made with 20.5 micron Merino. Imbue is an incredibly soft, very light yarn with modest drape and stitch definition — we find it behaves much like a woolen-spun yarn. Shown in Warbler.

1115 (1205, 1315, 1410) [1515, 1620, 1740] (1855, 1980, 2105, 2205) yds / 1020 (1100, 1205, 1290) [1385, 1480, 1590] (1695, 1810, 1925, 2015) m; 6 (7, 7, 8) [8, 9, 10] (10, 11, 12, 12) skeins

You will need an additional 10 - 125 yds / 10 - 115 m for the optional bust darts.

Gauge

21 stitches and 32 rows/rounds over 4 inches / 10 cm worked both flat and in the round in stockinette stitch with size A needles (we used US size 6 / 4 mm)

Needles and Notions

Size A: US Size 6 / 4 mm needle, or as needed to obtain gauge.

Size B: US Size 4 / 3.5 mm needle, or two US sizes smaller than size A.
